School run by Nuns

A boy born in 1915 in Wandsworth, London was brought up by the nuns.
Would anybody please identify any such schools in that area of the time that he may have gone to as a young lad growing up ?
If so, are there any records kept to look up names ?

"Brought up by the nuns"  suggests an orphanage.  Was he an orphan?

Thanks for the reply Carole, no he had parents but he had another mother on his birth certificate and I think he was farmed out as a result, it happened years before with other siblings.

One possible place is St Mary’s, North Hyde, which was a Catholic orphanage at Southall (Middlesex), used extensively by the Wandsworth & Clapham Poor Law Union.

There are no surviving records for North Hyde, but children's admission and discharge records are included in the Wandsworth & Clapham Union’s Registers of Children at Roman Catholic and Certified Schools and Exmouth Training Ship. What an informative record you highlighted, sadly my boy was not there but we carry on.
The family rumour was that he was brought up by the nuns, thats all I know, born in Wandsworth and brought up in Islington, his sister lived in Battersea, thats all I've got to go on.
