Hi Trish,

The Samuel who married Ann Fowler is the one. For a long time he has been the dead end of the Keeling line of my family tree. I have found recent research that indicates the 1701 Parish listings prove that Gabriel and Elizabeth Anchors were his parents. I cannot however seem to access a copy to prove hence I'm trying to confirm the possible connection.

He was born on Keeling's Lane, which I learnt from newspaper clippings his ancestor gave the name.

Many thanks

Jack

Thank you Trish and ZenRabbit for the help. I'll continue to do some further digging. There were lots of Keelings in the area!

Thanks again
