With Derenzy being such an unusual surname, did you considering a DNA test.
I had wonderful success with DNA.

Yes I've done my DNA and nothing so far. That in itself is, I think, a bit odd as I've used DNA to open up another family line that was a complete mystery to me. Good suggestion and I'll continue looking there
