Giluskirk Presbyterian Church
« on: Thursday 08 July 21 06:23 BST (UK) »
Good evening all,

I have a couple - William Gibson and Mary Eliza(beth) Haire marrying at this church on the 14 January 1903. This is from Irish Genealogy ie.
I cannot decipher the parish name - can any one help?
Ancestry and Family Search have not got the name.
I am asking on the Antrim board because the only Google reference I can find for Giluskirk has the place in Antrim.

Thank you,
Jean Price

Thank you very much KG.

It seems I made a miserable job of deciphering the name of the church as well  - Giluskirk for Gilnahirk. Thank goodness for some local knowledge

I will now add that information to their profiles on WikiTree.

Regards
Jean

Mary, with her parents/siblings in 1901, including sister who was witness to her marriage:

and in a nearby property, possibly her husband, William, and his children by his previous marriage:

Thank you again KG for the extra bits.

I did enjoy looking at the map - I can see where some of the Prices lived - there are still Prices there except they are now Moore.
