CASSWELL. (my reading)
On the original image the double s is formed in the old fashioned way which resembles a lower case f.
A trap when one is not used to it.

It has been transcribed as
CAPWELL, but I think this is wrong.
Does anyone have any thoughts on it?
This man is aged 17 Born on Ogbourn St Geo. and is a groom in a household headed by Thomas Kenson, a farmer of 500 acres.

And a lodger
Errors in census reportings are common. I would venture to suggest that Jane is not wife, but daughter to William. See 1841.
