Catherine McCormack , Samuel Henry's (2nd) mother in law of 1901 census, died 4th Dec 1910. On the registration " widow of James McCormick an army pensioner" So looks like there is a possibilty of the first marriage and death of spouse being in India. Was Samuel known to to have ever served in Army ??

As aghadowey has already linked the 1901 census in reply #2, here's the link for her death in 1910 as McCormick.

The informant was her unmarried daughter Mary Ann.

Here is Sophia McCormick's baptismal entry in Madras 29/7/1867. You can see father James's rank and regiment. No sign of any Henry connection though.

It would be nice to see OP back in this thread but in any case it looks as though there's lots of confusion due to what has since been posted.

I mentioned the Patrick Henry as a possible father for Samuel Henry. However just because Samuel lived in Belfast doesn't mean that his father did.

Quote
Patrick Henry married Catherine McDonald (or McDonnel) in Delvin (Westmeath) 24/1/1866. They had children recorded under Delvin, Mary Ann 1868, Rose Anne 1874, Margaret 1878. Catherine died in Belfast 25/10/1890, Son Samuel was informant for her death , son James Joseph for his father's . On Mary Ann's registration , Patrick is a shopkeeper, on the other two a farmer. The births of the other children mentioned in will have still to be found ( there are an awful lot of Henry's )
Patrick Henry (1835-1895) m.(1866) Catherine McDonald

Some children-
1.   Mary Anne (1868 Westmeath) https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:FPTK-TZR
2.   Catherine (1870 Westmeath) https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:F5NP-DN5
3.   Michael (1872 Westmeath) https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:FR9T-K9B
4.   Rose Ann (1874 Westmeath) https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:FPTN-XF2
5.   Elizabeth (1876 Westmeath) https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:FRS4-YBV
6.   Margaret (1878 Westmeath) https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:FRS2-6L6
7.   Peter (1880 Westmeath) https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:FPT6-GYV
In order for a son Samuel to have been born c1861 (pre-registration) then it would be before this 1866 marriage but Patrick Henry listed as bachelor for marriage to Catherine McDonald.

Some children of Patrick Henry & Catherine Kane (also from FamilySearch)-

The Will of Patrick Henry late of 29 M'Cleery-street Belfast Grocer who died 23 October 1895 was proved at Belfast by Peter M'Namee of Great Patrick-street Belfast Spirit Dealer and James Corr of Chichester-street Belfast Rent Agent the Executors. Effects £22. Will mentions 3 sons (William, Samuel, James) & daughters (Mary Jane, Rose, Catherine)

Daughter Mary Jane was Henessey
Rose seems to have married Richard Mason, 24 Dec 1900, at same church as Samuel earlier in year.
Witnessed by Samuel Henry and Mary Hennessey
https://civilrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/images/marriage_returns/marriages_1900/10360/5771639.pdf

Though Samuel Henry marked, whereas on the February marriage to Sophia he signed (if it same person) Both Rose and Samuel had addresses in New Lodge Road on marriage.

Possible Rose in 1901?
Age 30, born Belfast

1911
Rose Mason, 39, born Belfast, with husband Richard.

James McCormick moved into 142 Great Georges St between 1877 and 1880 (Belfast St Directories)
There is no sign of Samuel Henry, plasterer, in these that I can find, but his brother James Joseph Henry does appear in Cape St as a plasterer. James appears in Cape St in 1901 census with his wife Susanne Smyth (married 9/9/1884). Could Samuel have been working/living with his brother before marrying and moving in with the McCormick family? Or maybe he was living with his widowed brother William, whose wife Mary Corrigan is likely the Mary Henry who died from "English Cholera" 21/7/1893 ? Either way we are still unable to find any trace of Samuel's previous marriage or wife in Belfast or indeed Ireland  ???
