My Grandad was born in Hartpury in 1887 Does anyone know what schools he may have attended around there And would the Records Office in Gloucester hold any log books etc

If you go to the Gloucestershire Archives Online Catalogue (https://ww3.gloucestershire.gov.uk/CalmView/) and search for 'Hartpury school', the records for Hartpury Church of England Primary School are under GCC/EDU/2/1/8/165/1. A lot of these records are late 20th century, so won't be relevant. Under P165/SC there are older records. But no registers, I'm afraid.
