Hoping someone can help,
I found a marriage  for Elizabeth Mary Donahue and William Gibbs In 1869, Dublin South Ireland, the record doesnt give fathers names or anything so I dont know where in Ireland Elizabeth comes from on the English census it just States Ireland, their first child William was born in Ireland  in 1870/71.
I have no information on her family

Her father, John Donohoe’s occupation is described as ‘Road Contracts’. That could be labourer to business man, I suppose.
Her address is 16 Ardee Street.

I can see some newspaper snippets from 1860s which mention John Donohoe, Chamber Street but also William Donohoe, Ardee Street. There is mention of Thomas Martin, 16 Ardee Street.
I can’t access them further.

The 14th Hussars must have moved from Curragh to Castlebar soon after his parents married.

The 14th Hussars' deployment to Curragh seems to have been in May 1868. The chap at https://www.britishempire.co.uk/forces/armyunits/britishcavalry/14thhussarsmoleaccount.htm was recruited by a Sergeant Gibbs at Charing Cross.
