Wow.. thank you for all of you for finding the information.. the military bit was really interesting... was hoping there would be a photo of William Gibb . But he did get a mention in Moles biography he wrote.
William and Elizabeth Mary moved about a bit in England before he got a job at Parkhurst Isle of Wight as a prison guard... he died a few years after the 1881, In 1891 Elizabeth Mary is a widow and running a pub on the isle of wight..
