Perhaps he was Naturalised British rather than born here?

I found the crew list for this one and he was not part of the crew on this flight:
25 May 1956 from London to NYC
26 July 1956 from NYC to London

the 1962 trip posted earlier should be 29 March 1962, and the card says "passenger boarded at"

same wording for the 1958 and 1960 arrivals "passenger boarded at"
