The term attorney is used in the United States - England would be Lawyer. Further reading says - "endorsed by a grand jury on the written indictment submitted to it for its approval, means that the evidence was found insufficient to indict", a grand jury is found in the United States. I also said, while there is no sentence, there is a tick in the 2nd to last column, which says Whipped, fined or discharged on sureties.
