Railway Station Master: Inver

I'm looking for information about a man named Coulter who was the railway station master in Inver. The station opened in 1893 and I can't find him in the census for 1901 or 1911. John Coulter was the station master in Mount Charles but I'm looking for another person in Inver. Any ideas? Thanks.

Is it possible that on a narrow gauge railway like the County Donegal, a station master might be in charge of several stations? Perhaps the one in Mount Charles was also responsible for Inver.  They were only about 4 miles apart.

Checking BNA, it returns an extract of an item in the Derry Journal, 15 May 1896, that mentions "John Coulter, Inver Railway Station". Unfortunately, trying to view the actual article returns a blanked out screen. I have repeated the search on FindMyPast with a similar result - unable to read the actual newspaper page.
Perhaps your dismissing Elwyn's suggestion so readily needs a rethink?

He was married to Mary Stewart.

Do you have any other details or a timeline other than 1901/11?

The newspaper article that hanes teulu found is a report on the death and funeral of Lizzie P. Vance of Gortward, Inver.  John Coulter, Inver Railway station, was amongst the mourners.

The likelihood of there being two different John Coulters, both stationmasters working on the same railway line, at the same time, and living just 4 miles apart from each other seems a bit improbable to me. But who knows?
