I did not “ bump up “anything  , it popped up on my screen ,I have not searched anything except to listen to a post Erato sent re accents .

I have not said anything offensive, what I have said is how Jewish people can joke about themselves ,and applauding them for being so .
How your post of such a long time ago has popped up I can’t imagine .
I had forgotten the previous posts-  it is four years ago after all .
.I did not notice the date on your comment,I would not expect a quote from so long ago to come unbidden on my screen, why would I ?
I have no idea how that happened nor why you are seemingly offended or rather were offended given the date four years ago.

I truly had forgotten the previous posts about this but would be interested to know how your post came up unbidden today !

I can’t understand your attitude, it is not a personal statement but a generality to say you meaning you in general not you in particular .
It means just the same as “ we ( meaning everybody) always know who our mother is but our father.?
That can be other than we think or led to believe in some cases .

I really did not search forvthe previous time this topic was discussed ,I had forgotten all about it.
I did not look at the date ,why wouldI?
I don’t expect such old posts to appear out of the blue not searched for it is a complete mystery.
Notification of your post came up,on my mail inbox so I thought it was a new post naturally.

Viktoria is right, this thing just suddenly popped up out of the blue.   I had no recollection of it whatsoever.  But, what the heck, I listened to the "Call from Long Island," realized I had heard it years ago when it was popular, and commented on the accent.

Thank you Erato , it is a mystery isn’t it.
I can understand the poster thinking I had searched for and then quoted their original post but I did no such thing .
I hope they can accept that.
Perhaps the moderators can solve the mystery .
