St. MARTIN'S, Worcester. Name search please.

I wonder if a kind soul could look, only, in the St. Martin's baptism records, please.
For the period 1807 - 1809 I am looking for any first names of 'Thomas'.
I have already searched many Surnames ( Gould, Gold, Castle, Cassel, many Bevington variants)
It appears his mother had several relationships and name changes along the way.

Why St Martin's?

You are asking for a 3yr search of all Thomas's but have not given any christian name of the mother to help narrow it down.

Thank you for your reply to my request. I should have made it clearer but I am looking for the
FIRST NAMES of 'Thomas' for the period. Thomas, who ended up with the surname of
Gould Bevington stated in Census 1851 that he was born in St Martin's but a previous look at
the registers didn't have either name and I was just wondering if, perhaps, he may have been
registered in his mother's original name. His mother had several relationships I believe.
 I'm sorry if I am making this request complicated but I'm scratching around at any clue to this

Sarah Bevington   43
Elizabeth Sarah Bevington   11
Hannah Bevington   6
Mary Ann Bevington   18 mths
Mary Field   78 Mother in Law

1831 Marriage of Thomas BEVINGTON to Sarah FIELD in Glous is on FreeREG
Image on Anc has a Ann Gould Bevington as a witness.

Ann BEVINGTON Widow married William GOULD Widower 29 Dec 1836 same Church


1841 in West Sub Edge, Glous we have;
William Gould 50
Ann Gould   45 not born in County*
Joshua Gould 12
Alfred Gould 10
Caroline Gould   3

If I have the right GRO birth reg for Caroline her mmn was HOLDER (1838)


1851 William Gould is born c 1791 Worcs and widowed.

Anc has a Burial 1845 for Ann Gould 1845 age 52 (1793)

Probably what you have but someone else may now be able to figure this one out

Thomas married Sarah Field as Thomas Gould Bevington 1st November 1831 - Ann Gould Bevington was a witness.  This was 5 years before that Ann Bevington / William Gould marriage

Son Joshua was baptised 15 Jul 1827 parents William & Hannah
Son Alfred 18 Apr 1830 same parents.
Daughter Ellen 15 Jul 1832 - buried  Aug 1832
Hannah was also buried  Aug 1832

Not sure about that Bevington / Gould marriage being relevant.  Off to investigate further

Without a baptism for him or his mother appearing on census with him how do you know who she is and what other names she used.  The Ann Gould Bevington who witnessed the marriage could have been a sibling, as she did not sign the register the clergy may even have added a middle name for her in error.

Looking on fhs-online.co.uk for baptisms 1807 - 1809 Worcester St Martin the search gives 17 results with the name 'Thomas', all of which have a father and mother named.
So I'm not sure if that is what you are looking for.

Not sure also how much you can see of the results without a subscription.  If you join the Malvern Family History Society mfhs.org.uk, you get free access to the Worcs records on fhs-online.co.uk .
The records there are transcriptions and are not complete, but are still very useful for that kind of searching.
btw I don't have any particular links with mfhs, only that I'm a member and find access to those records extremely useful.
