My closest match did reply but just to say that their parent was adopted so no other information.
I suspect that my next closest is also a similar situation but they didn’t reply.  ::)

I'm researching my Burke family in Tuam, Galway in the 1800s. I have come across Higgins too. They haven't intermarried yet, but they are close neighbours. Please let me know if you are still working on this. As discussed, Ancestry data can be wrong/different line.
