Help needed finding a record for gg grandmother

I'm not sure if anyone can help me.
I have found a marriage for my gg grandparents, Clara Woodward (1871\72) and Joseph Keetley (1864\65). The problem I am having is finding a correct birth certificate for Clara's mother. There is 2 records around the same sort of time period, one mother called Halling and one called Thompson.
I have found a marriage record for Thompson and James Woodward but the Halling one I can't find anything. I don't want to assume that Thompson is the mother. Can anyone suggest a way to figure this out please

What information does the 1893 marriage for Joseph & Clara give for her father.  Was she the 19 year old Clara in the workhouse in 1891

same period, but different places. 1911 census, Clara's birth place given as Nottingham so her birth would not be the one registered at Basford. From the free index for the 1939 register, her date of birth is 23 Aug 1871 which fits with the sept qtr 1871 Nottingham birth reg mmn Halling.
