BERMUDA PRISION HOSPITAL
« on: Friday 05 March 21 11:45 GMT (UK) »
I have recently got a copy of my great great great grandfathers discharge papers from his service with the Royal Sappers & Miners. It reads that he was sentenced twice within a couple of years (1843) for bad conduct. I cannot read the handwriting but it states that he ' violated the rules of the (??????) hospital, where he was a prisoner. Can anybody enlighten me as to the name of the hospital / prison.
just so I can complete the transcript, or if you are brilliant at reading handwriting from these documents, I have attached a copy of the script. thanks

thank you. I have looked & looked at that word....just so easy when you can show somebody else. so the transcript is complete.  despite his bad conduct he did 40 years  & eventually discharged with lung disease.
