who might have been born abt 1829/30 and who might have gone to trial abt 1846 (resulting in “exile” transportation).
The best (only?) fit is a 17Y old Richard Hill who went to trial for larceny in Middlesex (Clerkenwell) on 6 Jul 1847. However this guy seems to have been acquitted, so could you please supply some more background information for your guy to facilitate and narrow down this search?

- Was Richard Hill, the alias or his real name.
- Was Richard HILL tried and convicted under the name Samuel WATSON?
- And especially: What is the link to his Old Bailey trial? If you can’t give it, why not and/or where did you get your information from in the first place …
