 WW1 William Bromley 9146
I'm looking to whether he was a POW.
He joined the south staffs regiment in 1912 and was sent to the front with BEF in 1914 and was injured in 1915
Any help much appreciated
Regards Paul

Thankyou
Does this mean that he was repatriated back home as a POW or as a wounded soldier

Both. If you check the newspaper reports you will see that he was included in an exchange of PoWs who were unfit for further service.
