Isn't she most likely to be daughter of Joseph Carr and Sarah, late Wheeler, maiden name Mullett?

The birth registration was found by Bumblebee in reply#1

Hi Lizzie,

Not sure as  :-\
Augusta and Joseph have mmn Wheeler, Walter has mmn Mullett.

Ok, I see, Sarah put 1st marriage name as mmn for the Joseph and Augusta reg.

Thank you very much. I was completely 'confuddled' :)

In my tree I have a young widow who remarried and had several children with her second husband. There was a mixture of registrations with her actual maiden name and with her first husband's surname. I have only seen the GRO  index, so don't know who registered the births, but my theory is that the mother registered the births where maiden name is correct and the father registered the others, only the rembering the name his wife had when they married.

  :) Thank you Lizzie,

With Sarah Carr in 1851 is a Master Chairmakers wife employing 25 men, there could be newspaper snippets of a company or works.

Going on this, Augusta is d/o Joseph. I'm thinking that Joseph Carr is Sarah's husband and children William and Ann both mmn Easdon are his from a previous marriage (although bach on cert).
It was in a reply that John Turner is Sarah's father on Carr/Wheeler cert  :-\

  Thanks again :)

John Carr married Sophia Easdon in  1825, not Joseph.
I think Joseph is more likely the one who married Ann Cannon in 1830.

There is something a bit off about that marriage in London. Two people from HW going off to marry in London by licence within days of Ann (Cannon) Carr dying. Marriage record said both were single originally, then Sarah changed to widow when she gave the name of John Turner for her father.

Possible Turner connection: In 1851, Sarah's mother Amelia is lodging with elderly widow  Sarah Turner. In 1841 Sarah has a possible husband John Turner. John and Sarah Turner had a son also John baptised  in 1795 - similar age to Amelia - is that Sara Mullett / Wheeler / Carr's father
