Will they get notification of my post?

Hello,

Don't know yet...too new, only one post.  Question...I replied to an old (several years) post with someone doing a Scavenger Hunt.  Pretty sure we share some ancestors.  Will they get notification of my post?  Until I get 3 post I cannot PM.  Still feeling a little overwhelmed by all the "stuff" on the site.

But I would say if I can get my head around the in's and out's of communicating with others I cannot see how it would not help.

Yes when you reply to an old topic the person will be notified by email, you do need to allow a little time because folk are in different parts of the world.

Yes...sorry to hear about her health.  Don't want to be a pain or bother her unnecessarily.  I assume this will be my third post so can contact via PM.  Advice please?  I imagine I am not suppose to put my email here so will have to wait til I "talk" with her via the forum.  Still trying to figure out this interface.

I appreciate your help very much, no rush if health is an issue.
