on find my past some years ago i saw a marriage for henrietta MAY, 12 october 1769 at deal kent
i only saw the free lookup results
when i downloaded from Gen Fair the marriage pdf the name was not MAY but maxted
now i am confused as to the surname of henrietta

The marriage image for St Leonards, Deal looks like Henrietta Mayled. The name where the signature (x) is written which is a mess is Maxted. I can see why it has been transcribed as May, the x does look like a y.
The banns entries are for Haxted.

FindMyPast are showing two records, one for May & one Maxted.
Family search shows Maxted.

Both the images of the Banns and the marriage entry all show Maxted.
