Small world indeed Monica, it was the Drylaw thing rang a bell. Ian Richardson was a surgeon, a GP & one time editor of the Pulse. A good shot & he wrote a wee volume called "One For The Pot!" he certainly kept it full and had grateful patients.
He had great Edinburgh tales, in short a star!
