My gt.Grandfather (Samuel Horwood) and his family had a men's hairdressing business in the Walmer Road area of Kensington during late 1900s to 1950s. Later, the family moved to Fulham, Brentford, Ealing and Teddington.
There was a slogan above the door of the business:
PUT YOUR HAIR IN HORWOODS CAREI would appreciate, please,
