Carol and I did say 1870s for Margaret Elizabeth on that thread.  This one is probably of the same vintage. He looks in his 20s. Add - ME looks maybe mid 30s.

As you may be aware, Chavasse was a Fellow of our College, and one of the meeting rooms at our new Birmingham office has just been named after him.
