Hi I'm looking for information on John Butterfield his number was (P3622) he was 2 Battalion Lancashire Regiment at Jubblapore Madhya Practesh India
Ps he was Army in the 1800

Having checked back on your previous posts I think you may be referring to Corporal John Butterfield of 2nd Battalion, South Lancashire regiment who died of enteric fever at Jubbulpore in 1898, aged 25. His army papers have not survived and the only information I could find is taken from his burial record.
