Lawrence Byers

Looking for some help on Lawrence Byers all I have is this -

July 18th 1940  1939-1945 Suffolk & Essex Free Press newspaper archive
Wedding at Pentlow of Miss Betina Gill daughter of the Rev Gill, the bridegroom was Mr Lawrence Byers of Risby, Suffolk.

I am hoping to find the house where Lawrence lived. If possible, also, his parents names.

That may be a little difficult. Marriage Reg has him as Lawrence W Byers.
Only 1 in 1939 register born c 1913.

There is no corresponding birth reg on FreeBMD IGNORE this birth info more info below.

OK have found newspaper article, Son of Mr and Mrs W H Byers of Risby
Arrived 1933 from Sth Africa with Parents age 18 (1915)

Bapt 9 Apr 1915 Hampstead to William Henry Byers/Mary Louisa Byers

You can find his Parents in the 1939 register, look for Mary L Byers 1883

Just to add that is Lawrence in 1939 but year of birth is out by 2 years, day and month the same.

Just to add, because I could not see deaths, Bettina Nora Byers is shown as arriving at Southampton in 1951, with one child, marked as previously of Rhodesia, and now intending to live in other parts of the British Empire.

The family, with 3 children, had left for South Africa in 1949.
