Is there anyone in Australia that could look up in the south australia police gazette for a George Harold Lodge in 1913. I am unable to view this document.

I'm not in Australia but picked this up on UK site :

Deserters from H M Service :

George Harold Lodge, private RMLI , English 5 foot 6 1/2 , dark brown hair , high forehead , brown eyes , two teeth missing , large ears , round face , dark complexion , dark moustache only.

If you check Trove, Australian Newspapers, it has an item dated 16 July 1913, New South Wales Police Gazette.

He is in a list of deserters from HMS Cambrian, at Sydney, 1 July 1913.

There's a marriage of George Harold Lodge (born London, 26y) to Annie Josephine Nolan (23y) in January 1914, Erskineville, NSW. They had previously tried to marry in December 1913, Newtown, NSW, but the registry is crossed through and not signed.

He is 40 years of age, 5 feet 8 inches high, nuggety build, dark complexion, dark-brown hair, hazel eyes, small turned up nose, clean shaved, a man's head tattooed on right forearm; usually dressed in a navy-blue serge suit, grey felt hat, and black shoes and socks; addicted to drink. Complainant, Annie Josephine Lodge, Port Kembla.
