Quite so. Mary McGrane 1902-1990 Bridge-A-Chrinn Cemetery Co Louth was not born in Drogheda but was married to Dominick Mc Grane, WW1 veteran who died in 1956. I don't know where they got the 88 years in the newspaper. It is simply incorrect.

Quite so. He was 65 yrs and a builder's labourer when he died on 26 January. Passed away at Blessed Oliver Plunkett's Hospital, Dundalk.

If you read the snippet, it is Mary McGrane who is 88 yrs old - ‘Aged 88 yrs she is survived by her daughters..’
