We need some more information.
What religion was he, who was his wife, when did he get married and where was he living?

I don’t have a lot to go on I know he was Roman Catholic and he was possibly from the Dundalk area. His daughter Mary married a Dominick McGrane in 1923 and her father’s occupation is listed as labourer I’ll try to get more details

Hi there, just posting the 1923 civil marriage registration below for the convenience of folk reading your topic
:
https://civilrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/images/marriage_returns/marriages_1923/09180/5320363.pdf
Do you have any other information to corroborate that Mary's father was from the Dundalk area (other than the fact that Mary was living there at the time of her marriage)?
Also, when you say
'Mary McEvoy born 1902-1903'
... is that a guess of age at the lower end of the scale, based on her description of 'full' age at the time of her marriage, or do you have other information to corroborate her birth year as 1902-1903?
