What time span?

I see only two WARBUTTON/SLADE marriages which are in the 1950’s, and in Bristol.

So, are you looking for living relatives?

I have a tree of Bristol Warbutton's, but no sign of anyone named Slade?
My first mother-in-law was a Warbutton.

Looks like the marriage was the one in 1954 - easily found on FreeBMD.
The chap has a middle initial of "A".
Garrad (Suffolk, Essex, Somerset), Crocker (Somerset), Vanstone (Devon, Jersey), Sims (Wiltshire), Bridger (Kent)

If I have the correct one, the chap with the middle initial of A died in 2006

He left a will.  Couldn't see any children from his marriage.

Not sure if his wife is still alive, couldn't see any obvious death.

Very little info given by you -  a bit more would help. When & where was “Archie” born and when did he die?   
Was he born as Archie or just known as Archie?  If the latter - what was his real christian name?

Why are you looking for Warburton relatives - what is the connection to Slade?

If by marriage - have you determined which of the 2 Warburton/Slade marriages is the correct one?

As you are researching his wife’s side - Warburton - what research have you done yourself to determine her christian name/parents/siblings?

Birdwell is part of Long Ashton which is on the edge of Bristol rather than in it.  Where did you find the directory Suzard?
