As this was before Civil Registration (1855) there would not have been a "Death Certificate".
Unfortunately the Ayrshire Parishes were amongst the poorest at keeping records of Burials/Deaths and the only recorded deaths for Girvan are from 1783- 1789. Several other parishes are worse with no known records. Only Ayr itself has a fairly complete set from 1766 to 1854.
