I believe Jane BUCHANAN, widow of Andrew BUCHANAN , applied for relief in 1890 after Andrew died 20/1/1890 In Cambusnethan, but I don’t know where to look . At the time she had at least 3 dependent children. Most grateful for any assistance.

She claimed on 27th January 1890 at 8 minutes past 2 p.m. (How precise is that?)

Her husband had claimed at 10.45 a.m. on the 16th January but then died of Pneumonia on the 20th.
Both claims have a list of their children.

"Margaret, aged 38, deserted wife of Adam Anderson, she cohabits with James Cameron, wagon driver, 10 of a family, 2 girls at Service".
Jane, aged 31, widow, 5 children, a pauper on Glasgow (this means Glasgow parish is liable to pay her allowance) with whom he resides.
Esther, aged 28, married to Thomas Docherty, carter, 3 children, Cam'nethan".
He was allowed 2 shillings & sixpence a week on June 6th 1890. Doctor's certificate states he is unable to work due to Bronchitis.
