Anyone heard of a Bonchester Neills Hill, or Mill nr Belfast
« on: Sunday 23 August 20 19:09 BST (UK) »
My Family stems from Bonchester Bridge in Scotland, and two of my ancestors went to Belfast, one was a woollen manufacturer (I thought that was a sheep) and I have seen an address on a birth and death record as 'Bonchester Neills Hill' or 'Mill' in Belfast (down)

I wonder if my relative was or had set up a textile business, and named a mill after his home

Ideas???

Regards

The names I am looking for is Thomas Rutherford, he appears to have a few textile type businesses, one in Belfast, the 1901 census has him as a master taylor, he live in Pottinger, Neils Hill his spouse was a Isabel, both born Scotland

Thomas indicates on the census form that his wife Isabella was born in England.
