Help finding a burial/cremation for Lily Williams

Can anyone point me in the right direction?
I’m having no luck in finding a burial or cremation for Lily Williams nee Jowett.
I’ve looked through all of the select cemetery registers for Liverpool.
I’ve tried the newspapers for an obituary, but there are no records for the beginning of 1968 in the Liverpool Echo.
I’ve tried looking through all of the cemeteries available on rootsweb for Liverpool.
I’ve tried deceasedonline.
Is there somewhere else I can look? I can find records of her husband, her parents and even her husbands parents, but its Lily’s I need to find.

DOB 2 June 1891(comes up sometimes as 1892)
Death: 9 January 1968 at 27 Merton Road, Bootle (from her death certificate.)
Lived at Lyndhurst, Sunningdale Drive, Blundellsands/Crosby

She doesn't seem to be on findagrave either. Sorry, not sure what to suggest if shes not in with other family members. Have Liverpool Council got online burial records?

Have you purchased her will as that may give instructions as to where she wants laying to rest

As you know her exact date of death you could ring Sefton Council to see if they have a record

Where is her husband buried

 I’ve ordered a copy of the will, I didn’t think about her maybe having her wishes on that.
I’ll try speaking to Sefton Council next week.
Her husband Hugh Williams was cremated in Liverpool Crematorium in December 1953 so its likely Lily was cremated too. It just seems strange that I’m unable to find any record of it.

The nearest crematorium to her home address would be
Thornton Crematorium where there is also a cemetery  tel no. 0151 924 5143

or she could be buried at Bootle cemetery I can’t find a telephone number for them so use same number above,

Or She could be buried at St Luke’s C of E Church Crosby 0151 931 3119

Or if RC could be Ford Cemetery

No address but the name and date of death are a match for what you are looking for.
