trying to trace the family of ray desiderato originally from trieste.
was a prisoner of war in ww2 in england and never returned to italy.

Have you any other information about him, can I suggest he may not have the Christian name Ray?

trying to find anything on  desiderato remi.
he was born in trieste in italy . during ww2 he was a prisoner of war in england . he never went back staying in england .
how can i find his war service records. any ideas please. he was born just inside 1900.

He died 1994 Warwickshire - born 25.12.1919

He married in England in 1949 - see freebmd - so buying a copy of his marriage cert will give some info re his fathers name

Any English records held about him will still be with the MoD.  Can't help re Italian records
