Loraine Lapierre

 I am looking for Lorraine Lapierre born 1925 Alameda California, Parents Edgar Ivan Lapierre and Gabrielle Archambault and wonder if someone would like to play detective?

The reason is, while there are plenty of records referring to Edgar Ivan and Gabrielle including newspapers circa 1928, Lorraine seems to have disappeared. In that year Loraine was placed in the care of an unnamed family and "Might" have changed her name before marriage.

The reason was, there was a shootout in which a Policeman was killed. Edgar made a one journey to San Quintin, while Gabrielle got 10 years. You can read about it here https://www.newspapers.com/clip/25488817/edward-lapierre/

In 1930 Lorraine was living with her grandmother, Rosa Archanbault/Archnmbault. Rosa was made executrix of Edgar's estate.  Edgar omitted his wife Gabrielle Lapierre as an heir.

If this is the correct match then there was a daughter "P" born 5 March 1947 Virginia - husband was Millard Glen Stanek born 31 May 1944  who passed away 17 May 2018.

Mrs. Emma R. Wooten, 67, who was a Spokane resident 35 years ago, died yesterday in a hospital at St. Paul, Minn., according to word received by Spokane friends. Mrs. Wooten was a member of St. Ann's Catholic church, and formerly operated a home here for children. She went to St. Paul seven months ago. Survivors include a brother in San Francisco and eight brothers and sisters in the St. Paul area.

Here is Charles & Emma in 1930 census with a daughter Marie. Marie died in 1932. I'm guessing, after Marie's death is when Emma started operating a home for children.
