Settlement 1720 Sussex

I would appreciate help with deciphering the attached Sussex settlement certificate for William Pennicod.  I can make out some of it but not all.  I am also unclear as to where he is moving from and to?  The document is archived as a Kirdford parish document but it sems to refer to Lindfield, which is a nearby parish.  Thank you for your help.

Churchwardens of the parish of Linsfeld in the said County of
? and Ralph Tost (?) & Thomas White Overseers of the poor
of the said parish Doe hereby Certify that William Pennycod the
elder his wife and Children Inhabitants legally setled in our said
parish of Linsfeld In Witness whereof wee have hereunto
sett our hands & seales the seaventeenth Day of February
in the Seaventh yeare of the reign of our Soveraigne Lord King
George of great Brittain etc Annoq Dom 1720

It’s signed by the 4 people mentioned as Churchwardens and Overseers

The County looks more like 'Surry' - I can't see an 'ex' at the end of it for Sussex'. Others may see differently.

Looking at the cert on FamilySearch I think that is what it says (rather than Lindfield)

I agree.And Dunsfold is certainly in Surrey!

Thanks all who have replied so quickly.  Its so useful to get outside opinion.  You are right it does say Dunsfold, I think it must have been incorrectly titled by the Sussex record office and I will ask them about it.

That is interesting. In my family tree I have a Hannah Pennicott or Pennycod who was baptised in Kirdford, Sx in 1789, and married James Bonner in Dunsfold, Sy in 1812. They were in Dunsfold in the 1841 & '51 Censuses. Maybe part of the same extended family.
