I actually thought it was spelt Jaden - that's how I have seen it written - Jaden being a boys name and a 'made up' masculine version of Jade. Not doing too well at all tonight ...

just like all the Jess/Jessi/Jessie/Jessy 's out there!or Jamie, Adrian/Adrienne, Alex, Blair, Casey and so on... i actually know quite a few guys named Dana too.... there are so many ambiguous names now, it can get very confusing!

Genealogists should band together and lobby our parliamentarians to have a law passed that children be removed from the (lack of) care of parents who would give them either unpronounceable or bisexual (asexual) names.

Children are people too!, and don't deserve to be the butt of their parents private jokes.

Probably for the rest of my life - I will always think of Joan Collins fom Dynasty if I ever see/hear/read the name Alexis.

My mother gave all 11 of us first, middle, last names. except me I got 2 middle.

One of my middle names was my mother's sister Emma's 1st name and
my grand-daughter's Charlotte's middle name is Emma after me.

My hubby's middle name is his father's 1st name.

Our sons middle names 2 each are
Son (No 1) after my hubby's father and my hubby's mother's brother.
Son (No 2) after my hubby and my nephew.

I wish I had thought to do what some very considerate ancestors did - use the mothers maiden name as the childrens middle name, it makes life much easier!

We named our son Deane (Dean with an e), but the poor boy has spent his life being called Deanne. Fortunately he has a sense of humour.
