How far is the beach from Orlando Florida?
The Atlantic coast is just an hour's drive from Orlando, and the Gulf of Mexico lies 90 miles to the west. After spending time at Walt Disney World, Universal and SeaWorld, take a day to relax at the beach and soak up our famous Florida sunshine.

             A local village, every September, would celebrate  'Elsecar by the sea'.

    At the local park around the reservoir, they would holiday there just as if they were at

     the seaside. This has been taking place for many decades and is still celebrated. This year

      I think it is held 3/4th September.  It must be at least 70 miles from the sea.  It's all in

       the mind barryd
