Hello
Please could you help I am searching for the parents of Christiana Hinchcliffe b1782 Sheffield I have them as Alice Sidwell and Joshua Hinchcliffe would this be correct? the other person I am searching for is George Fox b1777-1848 he was Christianas husband I keep coming up with Mary Timm ,or Mary Slinn i am so confused to which one is correct

BT's for Sheffield have:

31 January 1783 - Christiana, daughter of Joshua Hinchliffe, file'th by Alice.

George Fox -

Sheffield Cathedral

27 January 1775 - George son of John Fox, Cutler
26 February 1775 - George, son of George Fox, Scissorsmith

Sheffield, St Nicholas

7 June 1778 - George, son of George Fox of Bradfield

If I have the correct family in 1841 George Fox says he was not born in the County.
He is age 60 (rounded)

Thank you for your reply ,I have his father also called George coming from Calow in Derbyshire and George the son born in Yarncliffe Sheffield I have looked at th 1841 census but it doesnt say where George was born its so very confusing

Ihave found George he was christened in Hathersage on 16th Nov 1777.so it will be right that his father lived in Calow but there isnt any mention of Georges mother if anyone could help with this it would be brilliant
