The convict who arrived on the Neptune in 1820 (10 years old) is listed in the Colonial Secretaries Papers and on the 1825 Muster as Charles FAIRMAN (quite clearly with an "I"), however, "claim a convict" has his name as Charles FARMAN (no "I"). If this is the correct man then he was sentenced in Yarmouth for grand larceny to 7 years transportation.
