Lynch, had 1 daughter named Anna.  Mary T. born in 1879, & Margaret born in 1880 & don't have any other details for these.  Catherine born in 1881 and died in 1966, she never married and of course your own grandfather.  I hope this is of some assistance to you.

Hello again, a couple of points, 1. Are you able to view Ancestry.com?  I have received a message on their message boards from a Jim who attaches a report on a Father Ryan also on the death of Father Ryan, 11th May 1843.  Jim suggests I mention this to you.  If you can view it yourself it is on the Darcy and Halloran, Porridgetown,co. Galway page, it appears on the last page of messages 71-75 and the signature is Killannin dated 23rd Octob er 2010.  Jim obviously watches this site as he noted the correspondence between us. If you cannot view it I will try and attach it to this site but it might take a couple of attempts!!

2.  My husband was very interested in the info you sent and he has a query that has puzzled him for some time, he recalls a mention of a great aunt, no name, but I think must be Mary or Margaret, who went to Chicago and became a Nun, the family believe that she became a Mother Superior but I have no idea how to find her, I have tried various Google  searches but no luck, any ideas?

Also do you have any contact with Isadore's children?

regards Joan

Hi Joan,
Thank you for the information you sent me on Father Ryan, I have had a look at it and added this information to my collection.

Also I am in touch with Isadore's granddaughter Anne who lives in Chicago.  The next time that I am speaking to her I will ask her about the great aunt , the nun for you.

I will be in touch again.
