Seeking information on John Hammond in Hoghton, Lancashire. He was the final station master of Hoghton Railway Station on its closure circa 1960.

61 entries for his name in Lancashire on the 1939 register so you need to give more info about him

Apologies for the delay in replying. It is thought that this particular John Hammond originated from Liverpool. I'm currently looking for some additional information to share with you.

Possible full name - John Leslie Hammond from Liverpool. Appears to be the only one with a railway connection. DOB 1910

If he was the 1910 birth then he would have been 62 if married in 1972

What is your interest in him?  If he is an ancestor you must have more info about him apart from a name & occupation?

When did he die?  His death reg will give his age

He is not a relative. The local Historical Society here is researching Hoghton Station and associated information. We don't have any other information as yet other that previously provided. I'm currently contacting Railway History forums for additional help.
