Thanks Janan Hanas.

The link info Nat Arch saved me from a pointless avenue.

Yes that 1834 burial fits well, I'll need revisit the OPC for burials next as advised. And 1798 batism.
Elizabeth's early death is narrowed down to 1833-1841 now.The youngest child in 1841 census being Eliza Hamblen aged 8.

Yes the 1842 Hambly burial looks right. GRO index typo culprit.
The "elderly" Elizabeth being 82 in the 1841 census ties up with: GRO index 1842 entry: Hambly Elizabeth. Falmouth Union. Age of death 84.
Real progress thank you. :)

Why do you attribute Hambly to an "index typo culprit"? That the burial transcript on Cornish OPC also states "Hambly" continues to cast doubt until any original is viewed?

I think wiser I to turn to Henry Hambin’s mother Maria Elizabeth Beale’s linage for now.
I have her mother Elmira Beale nee Parker side established from RootsChat following  jonwarm’s  #156 helpful post in this thread.

I lack any evidence of her father William Beale’s background other than census transcripts.
In 1861 St George Martyr Middx census his given birthplace. Bayford  Hertfordshire. age 49 Married, Elmira 44 & child Maria then aged 11. At Great Ormond Yard.
Leaving his estimated birth year 1812.

Any help to advance this gratefully received.
