On the 1861 entry you will see a daughter Isabella aged 6.  GRO shows her as Isabella White Graham - mmn Neal

Also - William Wight Graham 1851 & Thomas 1849 - both show mmn as Neal

Freebmd has an 1848 marriage in S Shields - William Graham & Mary Neal

Check William's occupation on the 1861 against that on the 1895 marriage cert

This website indicates the marriage of William Graham & Mary Neal took place at St Hilda on 4 June 1848.

South Shields library & Tyne and Wear Archives will have this marriage on microfilm.  Both are closed at the present time due to the Covid situation.

I have just added this info to their Freebmd entries as a postem.  It may take up to 24 hours to display.

Ref opening post.  All indications point to her mother being Mary Neal but you say her mother was possibly Mary McCoule/McCoull

That marriage was 1854 - was that an assumption or do you have some other info that links to that marriage?

On the 1895 marriage cert - were either of the witnesses related to Jane?

Marriage Locator indicates the 1854 marriage took place at All Saints.  Tyne and Wear Archives will have this marriage record on microfilm too.

Transcription of marriage of William Graham and Mary Neal gives her father as Thomas Neal.

This may be Mary Neal's baptism in Tynemouth.

Possible burial for Thomas Neal

This is the baptism for a younger sister of Mary, Jane Neal in 1839.https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:S3HT-6S8Q-JCG?i=457&wc=9K59-FM9%3A13617901%2C30809801%2C31332702&cc=1309819

Groindex entry for Jane Neal gives mmn as Storey which leads to a possible marriage in Jarrow in 1824 between Thomas Neal and Mary Storey.

I agree with Carole that Jane Ann's mother was most likely to be Mary Neal.

This is William Graham and  Mary ( McCoull ) family in 1861. Note sister in law named as Agnes McCoull and a daughter Jane b c 1857 Newcastle.https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:M7JM-BVL

And this is that family in 1871. Note this William Graham is now a widower.

William Graham who married Mary Neal may have had death registered in the March quarter of 1869 Tynemouth district age 42.  Possibilities for burial Christ Church, Tynemouth Cemetery or Preston Cemetery.

Sorry I haven't been able to reply sooner, but my computer decided not to work.
I would like to thank everyone for their help in sorting this out.  I have taken note of everything posted, and concur that Mary's maiden name is Neale, not the one I posted.
