Can anyone help identify this soldier please? WW2

Hi
Someone posted a picture on a local history Facebook page for Shotts and is looking to return it to any family out there.
There is information written on the back that seems to refer to 2 different soldiers - I've been able to find the details for the soldier listed as being buried at Anzio - 2nd Lt. Black.
The other details are bringing up a blank though - is there anyone who can find out more about the individual concerned please?
Kind Regards
Tracey

Do you have the full name of the 2nd soldier.... Glen J.
? or is his surname Glen. Nothing coming up on War Graves for those details. He may not have died.

Had a look on FB. The photo is of a girl, possibly Henry's sweetheart. The writing at the corner seems to say 'with love' then a name?

As far as I can tell, Henry was born in Holytown in 1922. His birth record on Scotland's People will give his parents full names. You may be able to find any siblings from that.

Thank you
I had found the details for Henry but I'm not sure if the girl in the picture is connected to Henry or the other soldier Cpl Glen (?).
Kind Regards

The bottom of the photo has been cut off on FB. Can you ask the poster to try and read her name.

, just for clarification, I read your first post as asking for information about the second-named soldier, not the first one, whom you already knew about?
Never trust anything you find online (especially submitted trees and transcriptions on Ancestry, MyHeritage, FindMyPast and other commercial web sites) unless it's an image of an original document - and even then be wary because errors can and do occur.

Yes that’s correct. I found information on the War Graves site for 2nd Lt. Black but there is also details of another soldier that I can find no link to in term of the regimental number listed.
The picture I posted is taken of information written on the back of a photograph of a young woman. Was she connected to either men or both?
