Just in case you didn't know.
I note from the 1940 valuation rolls that Sydney was the proprietor of 23 Rubislaw Terrace, Aberdeen.

Hi

I have just come across your post.

Sydney G Davidson was the son of the brother of my great grandfather George Davidson, born Fraserburgh,
Their parents were George Davidson and Christian Pirie. I have Christian as having the middle name of Bisset, born in 1835 in Pittendrum, Pitsligo. She married George in 1859 in Pitsligo.
In 1861 census they are living in15 Manse St. Fraserburgh, He is a cooper.
1871 14 Manse Street
1881 she is down as Christina living in Richmond Cottage, Saltoun Place.
