I don’t see that death in FreeBMD.

I was looking to find area and quarter to look in newspapers.

Could you please provide some dates and locale?

Added...September ...I am blind.
But where?

there are only 2 marriages for a Baison to a Mary in Lancashire 1838 - 1873 - both in Manchester
1860 James Baison to Mary Davis
1871 - Frederick Baison to Mary Lee

Why do you believe that she drowned?.

What is the inscription on the headstone......all the words for Mary and anyone else named.

There are seven sacraments in the Church: Baptism, Confirmation or Chrismation, Eucharist, Penance, Anointing of the Sick, Holy Orders, and Matrimony.
The sacrament of Anointing of the Sick is administered during periods of illness - often near the time of death, which would be what was done in this case.
