Hi everyone, I'm new here and have looked through some really interesting posts that seem to be connected to my family.

I'm looking for information - anecdotes, myths, legends, general insights into the lifestyle of my dad's family - anything at all. My Morgan family settled in Ulverston, Cumbria, but I recall visiting my dad's cousins in their caravans when I was young. Though I'm not yet 60 most of my immediate family have died... no-one to ask about or confirm vaguely remembered stories.

The names in the subject heading are my direct ancestors. I have no idea how the Millers and Morrisons fit in. Some of the names are added as a second or hyphenated name.  I know they travelled between Whitehaven / Ulverston / Kendal / Bentham / Lancaster and some lived on the Isle of Man for a while. Most were hawkers, mainly of 'pots' or 'earthenware'. Some were horse dealers.

All information is welcome.
